Our Charter Date!

Our Lion's Club was sponsored by the Marshalltown Noon Club. We were chartered in March of 1970. Of the original 25 members or so, only Bill Ebersole (below) remains.

History of Our Club

We have a rich and exciting history of serving others through Lionism.

As a club, some of our highlights between 1970 and 2004 include fundraising: brooms, light bulbs, Baldknobber's tickets, concessions at horse shows, schools, Mid-Iowa Antique Power Days, River Days (of Marshalltown), Ridiculous Days, Oktemberfest, and the 4th of July Celebrations, Coliseum dances, popcorn sales every Saturday at Drugtown, mint sales, and pie sales, to name a few.

Service projects include: building fences, railings, ramps, etc.., Meals on Wheels, Big Brother/Big Sister skating parties, and the original Paint-a-thon crew.

Fun, food, and fellowship accompany our meetings! Join Us!
